Privacy

Short version

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Fonts and scripts are served from this server, not from Google or other third parties. The only personal data involved is your IP address and basic request data, which pass through Cloudflare so the page can reach you.

Who is responsible

Jakub Ferencik, reachable at [email protected]. I run this site as a personal portfolio.

What is processed

• Delivering the page. The site runs on my own server and is reachable through a Cloudflare Tunnel. Cloudflare, Inc. acts as a processor: it handles your IP address, browser user agent and the requested URL to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. See theCloudflare privacy policy.
• Error reports. Your browser may send Cloudflare anonymous network error reports (Network Error Logging) if the page fails to load.
• Server logs. My web server does not keep access logs.
• Email. If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.

Links to other sites

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Email me to use any of them. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
